Hammerhead Worm (land planarian) (Bipalium kewense)
skyfish
May 11, 2009
I used to find these a lot in the compost that gathered along my landscapt timbers at the lake. I was amazed by them but while few other living things bother me much, these give me the creepy crawlies. They can stretch themselves so long and thin, like a rather fine thread, so thin there would be no way to keep them out. I envision them creeping into my home and crawling on me and mine! and I get the shivers!
