I've got some Hibiscus' i'm growing from seeds...
Their getting tall but not filling out...Should I pinch the tops off them to stop them from getting leggy
and to help them fill out..or will that kill them??
Their about a foot tall with anywhere from 5 to 7 leaves on them.....
Thanks for any advice

Question On Seedlings??
Hi Phyllis
I asked this question a few weeks ago and was told the decision is really up to the grower. Many people cross pollinate to create new varieties and are most interested in seeing what the blooms look like. Those would prefer not to pinch as this will lengthen the time it takes to see your first bloom. Another reason they may not pinch is because they will take up more room when they branch.
If your #1 preference is to have a better branching plant, and don't mind waiting longer to see your first bloom(s) then go ahead and give it a pinch. I have one seedling about the same height as yours and I went ahead and pinched it several weeks ago. No problems seen here after pinching.

Thanks...I have a couple of a few different kinds so i'll go ahead and
pinch one of each and leave the second one alone to see how it goes...
Just didn't want to kill them...LOL
