Great Dane needs home

Hi all you pet lovers!

I am posting this thread as a favor to a co-worker. Her vet notified her of a great dane pup that needs a home desperately. My friend Anette, has taken the "pup" in to foster it, but she really hopes to find it a forever home elsewhere, as she already has a dane, a golden mix and four kids, including a special needs child. She has already been in contact with Dane Rescue and they cannot take it in for at least two weeks.

This is a female, one year old blue merle. She currently weighs 100 pounds. She is current on her shots bur has not been spayed. The person that gave her up is a woman whose hubby is currently deployed, and she has two small children and just cannot handle the pup right now. I also gather this was already the second home this poor pup has had. She is supposed to have a great personality, is house broken and loves kids. My friend was picking her up from the vets office Thursday evening, and I have not seen her since that time to learn more.
