Rooted Cutting Loosing Leaves?

Palm Coast, FL(Zone 9a)

I received two rooted cuttings of brugs a few weeks ago. They are/were doing wonderful until this past week when one of them seems to be dropping some of the leaves (the older ones). its producing new leaves and still looks healthy, no yellowing or fungus or bugs that I can see. So why would it start dropping leaves?

More information and a photo would be helpful. Would help answer questions such as: How many is a few weeks ago? What kind of light conditions are they under?, How often do you water? What size pot are they in? Have you fertilized? Have you checked the underside of the yellowing leaves for spidermites? Are the cuttings from the same Brug?

I'm not trying to be flippant, but it's impossible to provide information without having a better idea what conditions they have been under. Even Brugs from the same tree can behave differently, depending on what their root system is like, their location, what size pot they are in and whether they are infested with pests.

If you have had very hot weather during the time since you received them, they could still be trying to get acclimated to their new surroundings. Sadly, not all Brugs survive being moved. When Brugs are re-potted, they need to be kept drier than normal until they start putting out new growth and roots. It's possible for them to lose leaves when stressed. Give them time to get used to their new location. It may take longer if the weather is very hot.

I received them aprox 3 weeks ago. they were both doing very well. I repotted them into 1 gallon containers the day I got them.

as i stated before, there are no bugs, or fungus. I checked extremely thoroughly. they are currently on the covered patio, mostly in shade with a little dappled light (as per directions from the source). the one in question is Strawberry Cream. the other cutting is isabella, both are producing beautiful new green leaves, but the Strawberry Cream seems to be losing the ones it had already when it arrived. They are currently getting watered once per week, or when the top of the soil is almost dry (also according to directions). and yes, they are at the moment, being fertilized once a week with a water soluble fertilizer.

I would gladly take pics, but the camera died.

Where did the cuttings come from... location... were they being grown outside..there
if they were being grown..inside.. and now are outside.. even under dappled light.. they will drop the old leaves.. like an old shoe.. as they have no knowledge of real sun. and outside humidity.. but were grown out by the plant... and set up to manage quite different conditions.. and are pretty useless outside there.. to the plant..
