Today starts the competition of the three day event at the Horse Park of New Jersey at Stone Tavern for The Jersey Fresh CCI**/CCI***/CIC***and USEA Young Event Horse Competition.
It has rained for 9 days here in NJ and these riders are coming from all over the US, Canada and UK plus some other countries. The horses are wonderful looking animals and must do three different events to qualify for the Olympics. One Day Dressage, One day Cross Country and one day Show Jumping. Today the sun came out and hopefully things will dry out so no one gets hurt, and the horses remain sound. If you want to see some pictures, they may be posting them on the website during the event. I am not sure if they will or not, but last years pictures are up there.

All you young equestrians, take a look. Even the Western Riders can appreciate the work it takes to be able to enter into this kind of competition. Anyone who loves horses will appreciate this website. I am a volunteer at the Horse Park and thought you all might be interested. Enjoy.
