I am looking for plants I don't have. All of my plants are named and so I would want named plants also. My plant list is on Gardenweb. I haven't had time to put it on Dave's because I have about 500 plants. Check out the list on Gardenweb if you can. It's a free site and easy to join: http://members.gardenweb.com/members/exch/angelonia_anne
CLOSED: Have: Brunnera, Primroses, Beardless Iris, Hostas for trade
I just want to say I looked at your plant list an it is impressive! I sure wish we could grow so many here! 98% of what we try dies.... it is try and learn what manages to survive. I planted over 300 daylilies last year and have about 20 this year that survived.. .. I have no idea what they are but am pleased as punch to have anything! If it grows and blooms here, it is a success.
I am on that site, too but I don't think we have ever traded. I have been packing plants so really will have to sit down and redo my trade list after I have checked to see what is left. I know the irises I have are mostly gone. The daylilies may bloom...maybe not..the deer like them just too much!
Not sure I have anything you are looking for, but take a look at my list here and let me know. Hopefully we could make a bigger trade due to postage costs of just shipping 1.

I have named lilies if you would like to trade for a Brunnera?
LhasaLover why can't anything grow where you are? ?
mainly because it's odessa, texas, right lhasa? lol. right next to odessa is a place called monahans SAND mountains. i know that place because when i was a kid my dad took us there so he could work in the oil fields. just sand mountains everywhere and to a kid a wonderful place.
Hey LhasaLover, I feel your pain. When I was a teenager in Houston, TX, as a birthday gift my Dad built me a small greenhouse off our garage. It wasn't much--just a shelter really--because of the temperate climate and humidity there. I grew a ton of plants. A year or two later, my Dad got transferred to Odessa. As a teen, I was very upset about the move, leaving friends etc, so as a concession, Dad agreed to rent a trailer and take ALL my plants with us to Odessa. Took a full UHaul trailer out there and within three months, almost everything was dead or dying. Those plants just couldn't take the dry heat and viscious sun. You can grow great roses, though, so long as you amend the soil, and for that I am jealous! No fungus hanging around in all that dryness...
correct.. yesterday it was 103 with humidity of 5% .. well actually it is that right now except humidity is 6% but the day is not at its peak! I use the water crystals so some things have a chance to survive. It takes 10 times the work to get anything to survive but I do it. you have to plant 10 things and maybe one will survive.. so, I plant 20! I gave up on "named" anything... if it blooms, I will try it. I am very excited to have several iris that bloomed this year and will have daylilies this year... can't wait to see what color those will be. I go for inexpensive by the box load when people are thinning their NOID's to give them a chance. Soil admendment is definitely the key.. I buy compost and nothing gets planted without some of that and moisture crystals.. my ground is getting amended one square ft at a time.
I have a hosta that has come back 2 years now and mom has 2 that have survived 2 years.. .. looking for more and more daylilies.. anyone every thinning willing to see if their extras are survivors... I am happy to give them "the true SURVIVOR test"
I live in VA and our yard is mostly shale!!! Dirt slides down the hill...so... I have to redo all of my flower beds this year due to several years of neglect. I am buying BAGS of soil to put in holes I am going to have to dig. Will have soil surrounded by shale!!!. Hubby did cut a few trees down in the yard so I could get more sun in there!
