I know that this may isn't the right forum but I figure that those who know birds may know the answer. There is a female cardinal attacking my bedroom window. She alights on the crepe myrtle in front of it and then just flings herself at it. She does this several times a day. I will try to get a picture but I'm afraid she will hurt herself. Could it be she's attacking her reflection? Is this a common thing?

CLOSED: Cardinal question
Yes and Yes. You can try taping some paper over that portion of the window for a few weeks. This should eliminate the reflection while she is in the nest/territory defending mode.
K, will do. Thanks.
