Nice photo. The name fits it appropriately.

thanks! I feel like a proud parent. :-)
I can really see why the exotic hibiscus are so addicting. When I see the blossoms they take my breath away.

Yes they're very addicting and there's nothing like seeing the very first bloom. You'll also get some blooms over time that stand out above the others because of its size and/or coloration.

Based on that statement I'll need to make sure I have a camera ready then. To save and compare. Of course, since I'm so new to this, I will probably gush over everything that shows up on my plants. Right now I have my Strawberry Cream plant positioned front and center for everyone to see when they step inside my home. :-)

Yep, get the camera ready to take lots of pictures. Take several pictures at one time so you can choose between which photo you like the best. Also takes photos at different times of the day. After seeing it bloom a few times you will begin to notice a certain time of the day when the bloom looks its best.

Lol I sure hope the plants cooperate and bloom when I'm off of work! Otherwise hovering about with a camera might be kind of difficult. But, I'm sure my boss would understand :-) Not!

Geee, don't they have "Bring Your Plant To Work Day" where you live. I thought that was a national thing.

Hey I like that one--"Bring Your Plant To Work Day"--yep may have to put that one in to effect. LOL
