On the Tropical Forum, someone requested sites selling Fragrant Plant Seeds. This has certainly been an interesting search, especially since I too garden for fragrance! Lots of info, not everything relevant to fragrant plants obviously as they are Google Searches! Have fun!

Fragrant Plant Seeds For Export. International sites.
Joanmary - what an amazing list you compiled!!!!! Many thanks for such a great job!!!
It was quite an eye-opener for me Chantell! Some interesting sites there! I have to go through them myself ...when time permits! Whats blooming in your garden right now? Gardenias, Cestrum Nocturnum, Cestrum Diurnum, Michelia Champaca, Cananga Odorata and Brunfelsias are in full bloom in the garden. Strangely, I've had no seeds on the C.O. for many months! Still waiting for the Hedychium Coronarium to bud! I'm having trouble with all the air-layering Ive done....about 7 weeks and no sign of roots on the majority of them! Sigh!
Must be utter heaven at your place with all those pretties opening up for you!!! Everything's coming up here but mostly just the annuals just planted are opened ie. petunias, stock etc. I did pick up another Sambac at a local nursery - I'm guessing Maid of Orleans - she's blooming now...ahhhhhh gotta love her!!!
Whew SEVEN weeks...that's a long time!! What's the "normal" time for them to start showing roots for you?
Chantall, The air-layered shrubs are normall fairly well ROOTED at 6 weeks! Could be that I'd cut the Saran Wrap too small (mass cut the Saran Wrap to save time so they were all the same size....) and when wrapped around the sphagnum moss, perhaps the preparations were not completely 'air-tight' thus the moss dried out somewhat! I rewrapped all of them with larger S.W. (re-hormoned as well) and also prepared new ones with larger pieces of S.W. I noticed a couple of the stems and cambium were swollen so they are on their way to starting the rooting process but obviously struggling. First time this has happened so I'm a bit fed up! :)
Let me know if you find some fragrant 'goodies' in the above sites!

How nice is that for were to get the seeds I buy alot of ebay and tired of getting seeds that are too old. I buy alot of tropical fruits jackfruit rambunt these seeds get here and there already rotten.they are only good for a few days but if they pack them in peat they are germinating in travel. Thanks bedouin for your time to do this! I am all about the scent too
