WOULD LOVE SOME...

(Tammie) Odessa, TX(Zone 7b)

Wow! Already cutting back this year? ... and I am just trying to get what is left of mine to grow. Most died when I had the flu and my Texas Pink did not survive the winter. I would love to have some for postage if you are interested. Mom is wanting a pink... her white in the ground is barely coming back... but at least it is growing... good thing we have a loooong growing season.. it sure is slow.

ok? and closed without a word... hrmmmmm

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Cue: before you go jumping to conclusions . My post didnt show up, as a few of mine didnt today.

I attempted to post why I had the cuttings so early in the year ( as someone had asked) and
a pic of the cuttings.

I was not asking anything back for the cuttings to those who have blessed me in the past and
for the others , double or triple cutting of one in return for x amount of my brugs.

Now I will briefly re try this post:

I've gotten rid of most of my plants, pots, arbors , and other garden stuff over the past few months including cutting back my wild and unmaintained brugs, due to the Murder of my brother, by three ruthless thugs for no reason at all. I was a horrific murder, he was stabbed repeatedly in the heart.
So lots of my stuff has to go.
My brother was an avid gardener along side me and
I've found that it depresses me now when I garden for to long, and the thought he's not here to see all the beauty.
I'm looking to maintain only a couple of plant beds with limited plants to take care of. I love my brugs so I will repace one of my beds with some new brugs. I've already removed most of the plants in the bed that required too much care.

Anyhoo...........
I'm looking to ship out next week , on Monday
So whom ever did want some , just let me know by Dmail

I'm limited on brugs and recieved many Dmails
the reason I closed the thread.

Dutch your first and you owe me nothing, just pay for postage

Thank you all for the understanding
and get back with me if you still want

Sylvia

Sylvia,
What caught me initially with your post was your location. I used to live in Palm Bay about 18 years ago. Still have family in the Melbourne area. So..just wanted to say, I'm so sorry to hear about your brother, but I'm sure he would want you to continue doing something you both enjoyed together. Don't be in too much of hurry to "get rid of your plants". They may hold more comfort in the future than you are able to recognize at this point.

Thanks for all the kind words.

" Hold on to the ones you love they're not here forever"

and may be gone much sooner than you ever imagined

Something we found in my sweet brothers belongings after his murder
He was so special to many for this reason:
Always thinking of others!

My heart goes out to you. I would hold on to that garden in his memory - but everyone has to deal with things in their own way.
I wish you strength.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

He's out there in my garden
spread his ashes there.

Its all the other stuff that I cant take care of that has to go
and believe me I had toooooonssssssssss of stuff.

hundreds of plants , potted and so forth.

I'll keep some of the garden , just scaled down to a size I can manage by myself, right now.

thanks

I'm sorry about the death of your brother. How sad to hear such a crime. Take care and let me know if you ever needs someone to talk to.

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

Thank YOU!!!

Your all so sweet and kind
I'm doing .......... well as best as I can.
I have lots to deal with, and we were very very close.
We were only 1 year apart,(barely)
So since infancy it was always he and I .
Our names kind of went together. It was hard
to say his name without saying mine.

Its strange not having him here.

On top of everything else ...... the way he died
is very very hard to except. Very hard.
I dont think anyone ........ let alone him should die
like that. It had to be very painful

Sylvia,
Even tho we all "emphasize" , and we "all" go thru the loss of someone very close, it never will negate the hurt and loss. I was very close to my sister also ...see "My Sister's Orchids" in the Orchid forum. In any case, just know that you are not alone, and they is more than one way to deal w/ your loss. It's NEVER easy.

Your in my thoughts and prayers, may the good Lord comfort you.

Thanks Karen ,
your very sweet.

Thank you all
really , it feels good to know perfect strangers
would take the time out of their day to comfort another .

It kinda restores my faith in humanity.

Blessings all

I'm off to Post trial hearing this morning , ughhh .

I just came from outside watering the plants, and as I did so I couldn't help thinking
if I had any plants that would give the defendant the worst Rash on this earth, LOL
I know seeking medical attention in jail can be a slow process, and cant help but snicker
at the thought of the scum miserably scratching for hours while locked in his cell. = )

It doesn't hurt to daydream!

over and out.
