We had planned to go on a trail ride this past weekend but the constant rain changed out minds. The horses would have had to stand in it on the tie lines and we were afraid of giving them saddle sores pulling those hills with wet backs so we left them at home in their nice, dry stalls. But we rode over to the ride to visit with friends who braved the elements. I did ride a bit. Some friends brought their horses and the daughter is not a confident nor accomplished rider and had never had her horse away from home, so she asked me to try her before she got on. The little mare did very well but I enjoyed the ride just the same.

This is Sadie, the little Paso Fino mare I rode. They had to put a different saddle on for me because that one would not tighten up enough. It was a knock off of an expensive one they have. They put the expensive one on and I didn't like it at all.
