self rising flour?

A friend asked me a question I cannot answer for her. Someone gave her a bag of self rising flour and she would like to make noodles with it. Her noodle recipe does not call for any leavening at all and I can't tell her what texture the noodles will have using the self rising flour. The recipe I use calls for baking powder so I know what mine would be like. I know this is a simplistic question but I don't the answer.
