Tulip ID

Springfield, IL(Zone 5b)

I was hoping someone here could help me out..I bought these tulips at a local store, and can't remember what they are! They are late-flowering, fringed, as well as bunch-flowering, should be easy, right? Yet my googling has been less-than-successful.

The color is a purple-ish red, rather than an orange-ish one.

Thanks so much!

I did take a look this morning but the part about "bunch-flowering" is throwing me off. I know of several red or sorta red fringed tulips but they are all single-flowering. Valery Gergiev is one I have grown. It has little gold tips on the fringes. Really neat!

Burgundy Lace is more purplish red, but again, single. Another is Barbados. Another is Arma.

I know this doesn't help ID your tulip, but if anyone is interested in red fringed tulips I offer these as suggestions.

All of those look lovely!
I guess I am resigned to just not knowing, oh well, maybe the place I got it this fall will have more, and I will remmeber to write it down this time:)
