What should I plant in my front yard? Pictures attached

Hello, Please help!

I am totally new at this and need some ideas on what to plant in my yard. I have attached two photos. One of them is of my current yard and the other is a souped-up image I created with a free landscaping software (show off design). The plants shown are not botanically correct and some don't grow in my area. They are only representations of the height and colors I want.

Right now, I am considering holly hedges, 8-10' crepe myrtle tree, and orange lilies for the right border.

Please let me know what you think!
