Has anyone ever grown egg fruit?

I have been seeing this egg fruit tree for sale everywhere I look, it's supposed to be white and yellow fruit on a tree in the shape of an egg. Has anyone ever tasted this fruit and has anyone grown it before? What does it taste like and how do you eat it?
