A few spring GH pics

Fulton, MO

A few pics from the GH. Feel free to share any of yours here.

This is the second DF bloom of the year. The first is visible in the background. Don't know if the first was pollinated but I did my best to see that this one was.

At long last, some lychees. This is the third season of bloom on this 'Sweetheart.' I finally figured out the pollination and the timing of the bloom cycles. I have about 100 pollinated blooms on this tree, surely most will drop but hopefully some will stick.

Mmmm - I tried Lychee nuts once, they were great...

What on earth is a Pitanga? It's unreal looking.

PItanga is Surinam cherry, Eugenia uniflora.

SB-did you ever try fresh sur. cherries before? I remember them as being fairly tart-not my favorite. I do love that bright red when they are ripe though.

Heck no. Half the stuff I grow I've never tasted before. Pretty little tree, though.

Can't begin to compare to SB but here my little contribution;

We have had our 3 days of spring here in the Phoenix area and I am already having to cool the greenhouse most all day with the evap.

Man, I wish I could grow adeniums like that. I have 3 and mine are pitiful. Nice pics.

lol I don't even know where my adeniums are in the grhouse, Hopefully we can get all of my tropicals out from under the shelves where I shoved them in February. I hope they are alive!

Forgot to say how pretty they are!
