Closing FF browser unlogs me from every site!

I use Firefox all the time, love it but a few weeks ago I had to update IE which I use for certain sites because the version I had would no longer open. Anyways, ever since that update, when I close FF browser, I get logged out of every site I frequently use. I have to re log in here on Daves every time. I have the auto fill in at least for every site so far so at least I don't have to look things up but this is such a pain. Under Tools>Options, under both Privacy and Security tabs, the remember cookies and passwords are checked so I can't figure out how to fix this.
