Nederland, TX(Zone 9a)

Thanks everyone. I am going to cut it in about 4 weeks or so. I had 2 that were grafted and they were crushed during Ike. I'm glad I had stuck it and it took. Actually only 1 of the cuttings took out of the 6 that I did stick. Glad it did!!! The color is actually a smokey dark (grey or gray) and pink. It looks dark lavender but and the more the day has gone by it shows more grey in it.

Yeayyyyyyyy, Kyles out of hibernation. :-)

Robert, meditation is mesmerizing and whenever I see those smokey gray, lavender colors I am reminded of the taffeta dresses my grandmother used to wear. You are too young to remember things like this but taffeta fabric had an soft iridescent sheen to it and although it came in all colors my grandmother preferred that gray/violet for her church dresses.

Robert I'm so happy you could save that one, it is absolutely beautifully breath taking wonder, I hope you do well propagating a lot of it, the demand is very high for such a beauty, hope to be on the list of fortunate people to acquire it from you when you have it ready.

Robert, I don't know why, but I keep thinking ever since I saw this beauty what would come out a cross pollination between ( Meditation x Black Dream, new from Dupont ), ( Meditation x Crawfish Pie ), ( Meditation x Silver Memories ), ( Meditation x Geronimo ), ( Meditation x Black Dragon ), just imagine, with such a gorgeous bloom Meditation has, any thing you cross it with should be beautifully outstanding.
