I have a White Double Noid the is turning brown on the inside. The flower itself has been open for a few days.I don't know why the skirt in it did not drop,or how long does it take to come out?Can someone please answer my question?
What is causing my double to turn brown on the inside?
Some doubles' second skirt stays stuffed in the outer skirt and never drop down. If the flower has been open a number of days, it could just be old age. If the humidity has been very high or the flowers get and stay wet and the temperatures warm, rot or fungus problems could be the problem. I hope the next flush is healthier if the problem is weather related.
Have you guys gotten all the rain that we've gotten? I bet that would do it too.
A
It has been hot here.We have not gotting a lot of rain lately. It may be because i have been watering to much.
We've gotten some rain — enough to green up the pastures and entice the cows. But it hasn't erased the exceptional drought we have been in. We still need a lot more, but nice and steady. With this part of the country it either feast or famine. The 6+" of rain we got came down too fast. The rain had a better effect on mosquitoes!
Yea,you are right.I hate droughts because we are all the time having to water, water ,water the flowers.Either they get to much or not enough.I it would be nice if it rained maybe a few days a week and not go for months without it.
As gardeners that's kind of our lot in life..feast or famine. lol
Yep,LOL!!!!
Heat combined with humidity will cause that here.
It has been very hot lately.Maybe i will get lucky with the other buds.
