In desperate need...

Summerville, SC

I'm new to gardening and I just purchased a house that was vacant for 4 years, about all it has is weeds, vines and dead evergreen's. Im trying to get it looking somewhat decent and I never realized how expensive it can get.
Being that Im new to all this I dont have anything to offer in trade. I will gladly send sase's of money for shipping to anyone that has anything they would be willing to share.
Im in Charleston SC so thats zone 8b. Im looking for plants that are more lush and tropical looking. The parts of my yard im currently working on are in partial shade, so plants that do good there would be best. I do have plenty of area that gets full sun though, I just haven't made my way over there yet, but I would gladly take plants for it.

Thanks,
Jackie

If you do not have a lot of luck in trading plants for postage, try this link. Many of us have contributed seeds so that newbies can get a nice assortment of seeds appropriate to their zones.

We don't have a lot of tropicals up here in PA, but I could send you a clump of beebalm for postage if you want some. I have Gardenview Scarlet. Just let me know.
