Good companions fo Black Beauty lilies?

I already have all ready have a list of candidates but I'd love some fresh input.
The color scheme is dark/rich but could have a few lighter-colored flowers and 'Kopper King' hibiscus is already part of the plan.
Some plants I'm considering include Lobelia siphilitca, Phlox paniculata 'Blue Paradise', a pink flowered Chelone, and Astilbe 'Purple Candles'. I like the deep raspberry or crimson with blue theme but am open to all ideas.
The location is full sun 'til 2 pm then bright shade ( east side of house ).
Climate is zone 6b.
Also welcome any comments or advice on Black Beauty as I've never grown it before.
