I have a big can of coffee I'd like to use for my garden. Should I brew the grounds first, or can I just sprinkle them on straight from the can? I'm not sure if brewing alters/strengthens the nitrogen.

I am tempted to buy a big can of the cheapest ground coffee I can find, that I would never drink probably, and put it in a kettle with some water and boil it up for a few minutes and then slurry it out on the garden when it cools.
