Question about artificial light for growing violets

Medford, NJ

Hello
I have grown AV's on and off over the years, but currently do not have the best light for them. I do, however, have artificial lighting. Can you all recommend what types of bulbs work best for growing AV's under indoor flourescent lighting? I have room for 2 bulbs, I thought maybe one warm and one cool but figured I would ask here first

Thanks

Quote from the link blow:

The most common types of fluorescent tubes available today are commercial ones, such as Cool
White and Warm White. Although they are not specifically designed for plant growth, they are
inexpensive and give excellent results with most plants including African violets. Many growers
recommend using a combination of one Cool White tube and one Warm White tube per fixture.

Has anyone tried the full spectrum lights? The guy at Lowes just raved on them for plants, but what about blooming? Any thoughts?

The full spectrum lights have always been touted to promote blooming. In a few plants, especially light lovers, they do seem to be better. In others I have seen little difference between them and one cool, one warm bulb.Maybe others have had different experiences??

The brand I got at Lowes was Feit? Full spectrum they were 1.98, so I did pick one up.
