Here's A Pink Lavender Bloomer From Today

Ft Lauderdale, FL(Zone 10a)

This is Hibiscus "Berried Treasure". I saw phughes was inquiring on a pink/lavender bloom so thought I'd post this photo from this morning. It is an Australian creation that is now available here in the US.

And just one more bloom from today. This is Hibiscus "Pocahantas". The blooms on this cultivator seem to never disappoint and always face upward.

Well I can see why you'd go for the lavender one. Another good characteristic of Hibiscus "Berried Treasure" is that it's a heavy textured bloom that holds up very well all day.

Those are beautiful - especially that Berried Treasure

I love it!!!! I WANT IT!!!! Good thing you live in Florida or you'd wake up some morning to an empty pot or a hole in the ground. That's the color I have been looking for. I will have to write that name down.

Thanks!

Here is Blue Bayou from last year, it usually has more of a lavender cast to it.

I am sorry to hear about Edna; she is a beauty. Those are some great pictures. Blue Bayou really looks blue; it's hard to believe its alive.

LOL, it is real! Someone D-mailed me and told me I shouldn't photoshop my pictures. I thought that was funny because I wouldn't know how to do that anyway.

Your humidity and temps are just bringing out the best of their colors! Can't believe someone thought you had photoshopped them.. you would have to be a photoshop expert to do that good a job! I am pretty good at photoshop but could not make it look that good. LOL
