Socks in my Irises

Marietta, MS(Zone 7b)

Hello Everyone,

I thought this might be a good introduction photo. I have been wondering why my Irises were falling over. Today I solved the mystery! My cat Socks has found himself a nice cool spot right in the center of one of my Iris clumps. I didn't have the hear to wake him.

I have 10 cats listed in order of age, oldest first.
Tommy is from a momma cat I rescued,
Icky (Andy) is from the next litter, same momma,
Goldie was rescued by my dearly missed dog Max,
Scoobydoo was rescued by my husband during the ice storm in 1999,
Socks & Boots (brother & sister, look nothing alike) were rescued by my husband and I, found them in the very middle of the road at 11pm,
Gypsy wandered up one day about 5 years ago & never left,
Trouble did the same thing as Gypsy,
Trigger did the same thing as Gypsy & Trouble,
Mocha was rescued by my son from his place of work.
2 dogs,
Fred had Parvo when we rescued him & a year later got Menangitis (cost us a small fortune),
George was rescued by my husband from his place of work. He was starving and the 'men' up there were stomping his feet. Limped for weeks after he was with us.
2 birds,
Sunny is a Greenwing Macaw & was abused by her previous owner, and
Spanky is a Quaker Parokeet who was living on french fries when my husband rescued her.
And a few fish tanks.

All are rescues except for 2 of the cats and the fish. And all cats & dogs have been spayed or neutered.
I've been enjoying reading about some of your pets. Thanks for taking the time to read about mine.
