Hi,
I need lots of floating plants for my small pond. I just got it cleaned out and put in the Algeafix but I know it won't be long before the algea starts again. I have lots of perennials to trade and I would love some water lettuce, water hyacinth, water poppy, frogbit or anything you can spare. I am in NE Ohio and it is ok to send any of these things to me, and also my pond is not connected to any water source. Please take a look at my list and see if you would like to trade.
Thank you,
Kathy
Will trade my perennials for top water plants
Cute pond-do you have the blueing agent in it? It looks very blue.
My plants are still small as I am in zone 5a. You can find these in any grocery store or Wal-mart: grow mint easily and it spreads quickly and returns easily, Watercrest-nice plant. Those two can get you started. When my plants start coming up and I have to divide them I will contact you. Remind me in a month or two-I will forget...
I can't plant the mint because I live on a Nature Concervancy and that is considered an invasive plant, any of the mints. I did get some water cress last year and it did nicely in the pond. Yes, I use aquashade to try to stall the algea. What plants do you have that you will be dividing? Thank you for the offer, I will remind you.

Hi Kathy
I just sent out 5 large flat rate boxes of water hyacinth & water lettuce for postage. I don't need any plants but can send for postage if you have paypal. The large box is $15.00 including fees. I have been able to get 5 hyacinths and 15 or more water lettuce in a box.

Jan,
That would be a nice start for me! I have paypal and when I get home from the Red Cross meeting I will put money into it so that you can get it. I am not sure how to do that so if you could guide me I would appreciate it.
