This is my Yellow Lab, Sydney, but her nickname is Doodles. She is my first dog and my best friend. She is 12.5 years old and last May she was diagnosed with cancer. It was the most tramatic horrible thing I have even been through. She had a huge lump on her chest and under her arm. She had emergency surgery, and made it out ok. The doctor said he couldn't remove all of the tumor in her chest but he got rid all the other ones. It's been a year later and she is doing really good, but I did notice another lump forming on her. She is a hyper crazy dog and nothing gets her down. You can't even imagine how much I love her. I have no kids so I think I substitute her as my child. My husband says she is my shadow, but I know she is my best friend and thinking about her makes me so happy I could cry.
