Sorry, another newbie question....
It seems new hybrids of brug are being introduced all the time. Is the process of crossing fairly easy? Can a beginner like myself give it a go or is this best left to the brug-masters? If/when you come up with a new and interesting plant, do you have to grow several generations before registering it?
Crossing brugs
It takes some pollinting practice to get the timing just right, but well worth it when you see your first seedpod hanging on and continuing to grow. If you should be lucky enough to get one worthy of registering it, you need to grow the plant for several seasons.
These three links show you how to pollinate.

This link give you the basic guidelines on hybridizing that lead to registering a new Brug.

Thank you Bettydee. I'll check out the links and possibly give it a try. Keep your eyes out for me in a few years when I come up with a red and white striped brug. Shall I call it Candycane? Just kiddin' of course!
