Thistledownfarm, I have never been up there either.. on my to do list for sure! One of my employees was planning on going this year, and he just told me a few days ago that he wasn't going to because he heard that most of the fields had been planted with daffs instead. Where did you visit? He would be thrilled to know that he can still enjoy the beauty of the tulips!!!!

If you go to the Skagit Tulip Festival web-site it gives you a tulip map. There are lots of fields of tulips and daffodils. If you go to Roozengarde you have to pay $4.00 to go inside and see the display gardens, well worth the money though. I think Tulip Town is more expensive to visit and not as nice I've heard.
Hope you get to go, it's really beautiful up there.

Thanks! Not in the cards for me this year, but maybe next. My employee however will be overjoyed with the info. He loves to garden, and was really looking forward to going there this year.

I am going to have to settle with a local trip to VanLierops, which is stunning beauty on a smaller scale!
