We moved into a new house last year, and as I was clearing out a bed this afternoon, I found a few clumps of chives growing (yippee!) under an aspen tree.
I purchased some sweet basil, cilantro, parsley and rosemary seedlings, but haven't decided where to plant them. Since the chives seem to be doing well under the aspen, is it safe to assume the basil, cilantro, parsley and rosemary will do well there, too? Or, do they require more than the morning sun/afternoon dappled light the chives receive?
Found chives...what else can I grow?
Most herbs need full sun.Which is really about 6 hours a day.Edge
