Good morning farmers. Today we will finish a project started yesterday, the storing of our friend's things in our basement and storage shed. I will work with the mules again, yesterdays training session went very well. When you start picking up feet it can get exciting real quick but nothing happened, that's verrrrrrry good! We will make a trip to a neighboring town for some things not available in our little town and have Chinese lunch while we are there. My riding friend plans to come to our place with some of her young horses to give them some new experiences with different scenery and traveling with strangers (my horses). She says there are bees everywhere near her place (95 miles from me) and she is afraid she will be stung, so we will go out here on our bare hills where I never see them. Safer all around. This is the lady who almost died from beestings a few weeks ago. She may come here today or tomorrow. Yesterday she and her husband took cattle to the auction yard so they don't have so many to feed this winter with the hay shortage. Due to our drought situation hay supplies are short and prices are higher. Have a good day everyone, count your blessings.
