Aurea White x Rothkirch

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

This started blooming yesterday.
Not sure what I will do with it yet, but probably will use it in breeding somewhere .. lol

Kyle Courtney made this cross from his aurea White momma and my RK pollen, and sent me some of the seeds. This is one of the best seedlings of those seeds.

I like what it offers in fragrance, tendrils, and relative "pureness" of aurea.

And from the front ..

Sorry about the freeze damaged wood.
This huge plant is way back in the corner. Did not get the change to prune there yet )-;

!!!! Wow Look At Those Tendrils. Very Nice !!!!!

The Fragrance Must Be Magnificent.

Chocolate Brug

Hamilton, OH

Just Beautiful, I love the shape of it also

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

I love that shape!!! I sure hope you use her for breeding. A bright lemon yellow or an orange Brug with that shape would be to die for.

A success for sure!

Dunedin, FL

What awesome tendrils she has, a very lovely and pristine Beauty.

Copperas Cove, TX

It is gorgeous!! Good luck with the breeding on her :-)
Got so many pinks when I started last year but not a pure white one yet. I think they are just so beautiful.

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Yes, great tendrils and fragrance :-)

Any suggestions for varieties for best crossing partners for this one?
Lots are coming to bloom and lots of blooms are coming on this brug, so I need to get busy .. lol Thanks :-)

Sam.

Don't have that one Gordo, or I would try it.
Thank you though :-)

Sam will make your flower fat and pink.
Also, if the past is prologue, you'll have to tame the resulting tendrils with a whip.

Git along little tendrils! YEEHAW!!!!

La Grange, TX(Zone 8b)

Maybe a joint effort with Liz on her Perfect Harmony X Sam. Or crossed with Herbstzauber

Coal Center, PA(Zone 6a)

Yellows and oranges are a good suggestion.
HZ for sure. That cross is already in the plans.
Thanks, Veronica :-)
