Here is my Blue Modern Game Bantam.. I haven't named him yet. He loves to get on my shoulder and pick at my glasses or my earrings.. LOL

He is the funniest lil thing ever.. He picked the cochin roo smack in the behind and took off.. The cochin squawked and chased him all the way across the yard.. it looked like a couple of lil kids.. tooooo funny!

They are all beautiful, but Dolly is my favorite too. I may have to get Barnevelder eggs if I don't get enough hens out of this hatch. How can you part with those silkie sweeties???
Spoil them? MEEE?? LOL Dolly likes to eat.. She doesn't get in any rush, but sometimes you have to tell her when to stop.. LOL
Oh Claire, this baby is so curious.. he gets so close to your face.. I'm always scared he is gonna get me in the eye or something.. I wanna squeeze him.. He is "hard feathered" so he is solid like a lil Salami.. LOL
Well Beclu.. you just missed the boat here.. Molly went broody! I do have plenty of RIR/Barnevelder cross eggs though. They are darling babiez.. I have 3.. Not sure what they are gonna end up looking like, but so far they are typical RIR coloring.. with a hint of something else.. :)
ZZ - last week one of my best hens (well, friendliest) was sitting on my lap and she has never pecked at me before, but she took a quick swipe at my lip, tore it open, it was so hard to get it to stop bleeding! I know she didn't mean to hurt me, but OUCH! Usually she just sits with her eyes closed on my lap and lets me pet her. She must have been curious that day. One of my local chicken friends said she thinks that when you smile, they see your teeth and want to peck them. Good thing it wasn't my eye!
Oh I know! Cody has braces! LOL They love his shiny metal.. !!
Snowshoe was sitting on my lap and I'm like.. la teee dah.. not paying a bit of attention... she saw a freckle that she decided to eat.. I can't believe my arm skin is that stretchy! She was intent on getting it off.. I almost sent her flyin!! I thought I'd get a blood blister.. dang that hurt!
Great looking birds!! I do love snowshoe! I want one. :)
