Small Dog Agression!

I have a 16 month mix, Shih Tzu / Pekingese. Absolutely everything I could want in a sweet loving "mamas baby" except, his agression to large dogs. He will actually try to attack them. If any of you know the reasons or cure for this. Please let me know. I discovered this when I took him to PetSmart for training. His approach to the larger dogs is scarey.
