Bought on today but can't get any info on it.

I can't find anything much on it on the Internet, either. If it's truly an alpine, you might try to post in the Alpine plants forum.

I thought that was a variety of Campanula cochlearifolia, which is, indeed, an alpine plant. I bought one of those last year, thinking it needed regular good garden soil, etc, and it perished. Alpine campanulas need sharp drainage and sun, and not too rich a soil. If you have a sunny spot, try amending the soil heavily with chicken grit to get that nice drainage.
