Pink Charm's Value to the serious Breeder

Dunedin, FL

Pink Charm's Mother Rosa Zauber was the result of Monika Gottschalk's 1996 cross of Rothkirch x Charleston, she was also the mother of several nice double Pinks. Pink Charm with parents Rosa Zauber X Wildform Ecuador Rose a RARE Versicolor, makes her very valuable for serious Breeders, not to be overlooked for the Quality that will be produced!

At the present time Pink Charm is offered on Ebay by Gary Xeriscape8321

Attached see a picture of the Mother Rosa Zauber.

I learned all this from Monika about a year ago which is why i have used Pink charm in several of my crosses. You cannot overlook these genes when working a hybridizing program.
Besides all that technical stuff, she is a fast, very easy grower and blooms like crazy. She has great form, color and fragrance...

A great brug for the newbie and hybridizer alike. Thanks Monika for getting this into the U.S gene pool.

Thank you Christa and Monika :-)

I will also be checking my different 'Equadore/Equadore' plants ..
of which at least one is a wild form.
I did not realize they might be different. Hoping they are :-)
One simple little question can open to a plethora of info .. lol

Thanks again to you both.

Thank you, Monika :-)
I have my "regular" 'Equador Pink' originally from Native Habitat. ' Baloa' from you.
And 'Equadore' from Costa Rica I have had for a long time.

'Equador' and 'Equadore' have grown maybe 75' apart. I moved 'Equadore' which is smaller to a large pot yesterday so I can compare the 2 side by side as they next bloom again to see if they are different.

I never expected the info I got when we talked about wild forms. And what I might have growing right under my nose and don't know ..lol

Pink Charm is so beautiful. Like many brugs it will change in color from a light pink to almost a mauve color.
Here is how Pink Charm looks when she get very dark.
