... visited my garden today and stayed for a rather long period of time, visiting each of my Lavender and Red Verbenas,Porterweed and also the Mistral Delphinium. Didnt have time to grab the camera and at one point both the GSW and a Monarch were fluttering about the yard.

Great Cue...We had some rains move through last night and this morning. We needed them in the worst way. Maybe they will benefit the wildflowers and thus the butterflies. Before the rain yesterday I did spot a Red Admiral and a American Lady. But was busy putting in zinnias and didn't have the camera close by.
