Knock had fallen behind in his reading at school. They have to read and test on 25 books in a school year or they can't be promoted to the next grade. When he got his report card 2 weeks ago he had only done 1 book. I got on to him about it and now, 2 weeks later he has finished his 25th book! I am so proud of him. So, since yesterday was a very pretty day, we took him to the barn and saddled his mare for him. DH and I each took her for a couple trips down the road and back since she had not been ridden in a month or so. She did fine so I changed her tack and Knock mounted up. She always does sooo much better for him than anybody else. He had a great time!
He can put his feet in the stirrups now but he still doesn't have any weight on them and his feet don't stay in the stirrups long. But he is growing.
