Without my knowing it, my DH purchased this very large AMORPHOPHALLUS KONJAC bulb for me from eBay.

He knew how much I really wanted one & he wanted to get the largest one he could find so that I wouldn't have to wait for it to bloom. Plus, he knew I would never spend that much for it.
My question is: Which way is up?? What looks like the the stem (the white stub) is on one side & the other side is smooth. I'm guessing that's the stem and if it is, of course it goes up. But I want to make sure this is where the stem will come from. I don't want to mess up his $45 gift!!

New very large AMORPHOPHALLUS KONJAC
The little nub will be the flower.
where the stems cut off and theres a circle around it and the roots come out of goes up! if that makes sense! hehe! the roots come from the top and go down...in the photo of yours the side showing is the top, don't plant to deep yet deep enough to support the weight of the plant. This is what yours will look like shooting...
You can pretty much watch em grow. hehe!
Just planted both 4 pounders, can't wait till they come up!
