Another fave bloomer, in bloom now
And blooming down low...
Very nice! Which hoya is that? Looks like you have a garden paradise! Beautiful picture!
If I recall, I think its Meredithii
Looks like one of the H. acuta/verticillata/amoena mob to me. Merredithii has HUGE undulating leaves with darker venation http://www.bigislandgrowers.com/AHcomp/AHvite1.php
I will have to look at the tag, I am just really LAZY! (That is, if the squirrel didn't make off with it)
Carol: Wow! That is one amazing Hoya! Love those huge leaves and the bloom is really pretty too. I get so confused with the names. Are merredithii and vitellinoides one and the same? I notice on that page it gives the name of vitellinoides.
Yes, they are syns. Ted Greens' publication of H. meredithii was not accepted due to a small error in the "format"...it was corrected and republished, so H. meredithii is a 'legal' name, now....
it is a gorgeous leaf!
Well I was close, its MERRILII...just a ***slight*** misspelling LOL
It's a beauty Goth!
So is Carol's meredithii.
I love that hoya so much just for the leaves;
and the flower 'ain't' so bad either!
