Getting ready to open. Woohoo! I believe this is the only Blue flowering epi, disocatus, AKA Wittia amazonicus.
Wittia amazonicus
I have been searching high and low for this plant....where did you get it from?
I got a gift from a friend in Texas.

Can't wait to see it open :) Tell it to hurry up lol!
I never knew there was a blue flowering Epiphyllum! Wow! Can't wait to see a photo of that bloom! Please keep us updated on the progress! Is it a night bloomer?
Yes waiting with held breath.

Sunshine, we need some pic's of that plant in the Plant Files data base: http://davesgarden.com/guides/pf/go/130311 There aren't any photo's for that plant yet! Please consider uploading pic's of your lovely plant, with buds, and of course the blooms when they open.
I wonder what you would get if you crossed it with a large flowering white epi??
That is an awesome bloom. It reminds me of the blooms on a candy corn vine. If you crossed it with an epi, wow, I can't imagine what the outcome would be.
Thanks for the pics and the links, it gives me something else to add to the wish list. LOL
Bloom is opened but my camera is broke, I am so sorry.
My camera is headed to New York to get repairs.
