My tulips bulbs came from Costco in the water jars. They did their thing and then I cut the flowers off and planted them in pots. Now the leaves have died back and I suppose it's time to pull them up and store them? Now sure how that goes.
Thanks,
Ginger
What Do I DO Now?
Were the bulbs forced in water?
I think the answer is yes. We put them in the glass jars with water. They grew, they bloomed and when done I cut the flowers off and potted the bulbs and leaves a while back. Now the leaves are dying back.
Thanks,
Ginger
Most sources say the bulbs are worthless after forcing in water. I have no personal experience with water forced bulbs, but I suppose there's nothing to lose by planting them in the ground and seeing what happens.
