I bought what was tagged an angel trumpet, but i think it is not( the blooms face upwards). The plant looked healthy, and the nursery is one of the most reliable in town, this morning to my dismay i found what looks to be tiny holes in the leaves. I can't find any bug or worm-- no clue what to do next. Please help! Any guess will help - i have no clue.

Sound like you have a Datura which is also called Angel Trumpet.The holes could be from a slug.Check under and in the drain holes of the pot.
