Homemade pond filter system

Cleveland area, OH(Zone 5b)

Last year I remember there was a link to a do-it-yourself pond filtration system, that used Rubbermaid totes with purchased filter pads. Can someone help me to find that again?

We have a hole in the ground, full of rainwater, and mosquito larvae.....

Throw in some Wal Mart feeder goldfish. They will take care of the larvae. They cost like 18¢ each. Ours grew to 3" last summer, with no extra feed.
No filters in this pond.

Mosquito Fish (think ugly guppies) are usually readily available at PetSmart too.
About the same price as goldfish.
Got feeder goldfish there too.
If your pond is deep enough the goldfish might winter over.
Ours always do.

Yes Fish will take care of things and moving water will prevent them too, good luck with things.
