Worm Bins

Show me your worm bins...bought or home-made.
Thanks.

Here's mine-

I made it myself, not to use up kitchen waste so much as to create better soil for my garden. I toss in a lot of straw, pig poo, and the odd bunch of kitchen scraps.
Here's a top view, so you can see the double walls that help insulate against heat and cold.

How neat,I really like that.
You did a great job making your worm bin.
Did you design it yourself?
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks, yes, I designed it and built it myself. I didn't build in any way to separate the finished product from the rest, so when I want to take advantage of all their hard work :>) I have to scoop out a bunch of the mix, screen it or soak it, then put whatever remains back in. That means sorting out a ton of worms too, and trying to pick out the worm 'pods'. So if I were to do it all over I think I would put in a screen in the bottom, with a lower bin to catch stuff. But this is working out ok, too.
I hope you get some other examples. I know there are a ton of links to the store bought kinds, but it would be interesting to see more home made ones.
