I cut the top off of my office scheffleria on Feb 13; I just noticed how much this repot has grown. It was potted in very light soil for drainage. I layered bark on top; just for looks I guess. It gets indirect sun on a south window [that is, if we ever get sun]. I am thrilled with that new growth.
it grew! who knew!
Good job!
Isn't that encouraging?!!
So that's the top part? Did you keep the bottom part as well?
I just love it when I see new growth on my plants!
Yes, I repotted the bottom for better drainage as it was sitting in a very heavy pot with no drain. It is in the forier [sp], and the top part is at home in front of a south window which is shaded with a bamboo shade. In the summer [what ever that is] it gets quite warm there and I lost most of my AVs starts.
