Wow! Look ~ no snow! Is winter over with for you?

It is always great to see the new growth...

Gosh podster, I hope winter is over. There was a forecast for 2 inches of snow last night. Luckily, it stayed as rain, but is 35 degrees. One year, we had snow as late as May 14. So, you never know! You are probably picking ripe tomatoes, aren't you??? :-)

LOL I wish! I do have blooms on the squash, peas and Satsuma tho...

Do you eat the ramps? I have seen them in the woods when mushroom hunting ,but never thought of trying to grow them in the garden, do they need shade?

Looking great herbalbetty!

Two years ago, I was visiting my brother up north and my nephew knew I loved ramps. He went with an old-timer out into the woods and got me a 5 gallon bucket of ramps. We ate some and I brought the rest home with me to plant. They are doing well. I have these ramps in sun, but we are at 1200 feet in the Catskill Mountains where 90 degree temps are rare. In Indiana, I would put them in shade of the canopy of hardwood trees. I've been away for a week and can't wait to get back to the garden!
