i have a water feature that i add water to daily because of evaporation. i was curious if anyone can recommend a way to replenish the water automatically. thanks in advance for any leads.

I don't know if this works or not. My DD in California has an automatic filler on her pond that she has used for years. I don't know what brand she had installed.

It sure is!!! That's an absolutely fantastic resource.
We installed a toilet bowl bulb-y thingy as our refill-it works fine-it is in our skimmer box.

Tuson - I use a float device designed for livestock water troughs. It is attached to the side of your water container and then attached to your hose. The one that I used the most is red plastic (ugly!), so I place a piece of black liner on top of it to conceal it. I buy my floats from farm supply stores, generally under $10, but all metal floats will cost a bit more.
