I occassionally see this 'lil one comes to the feeder. The finches and Cardinals will quickly chase it away though. Cutest 'lil bird!

Mine always do that: they grab a bite to eat and run back up the tree to eat it, and then run back down for another bite. Shy guys...

They're as cute as can be, so far these birds has lingered in the area. I enjoy watching them. I also learnt that finches, Cardinals in their breeding season, they're more agressive on defending their food source. I watched finches chase my titmouse, the nuthatchers and other small birds away, then the Cardinals will return their treatment, they'll chase the finches off.
