Two Subjects: Basil Potting and German Chamomile Seed Trade

Brighton, MO(Zone 6a)

I started some basil a few weeks ago. I scattered a bunch of seed in a small cell pack and had very good germination. Now I have these little cells with 6 to 8 (or more) seedlings in each cell. Should I pot them up to 3 or 4 inch pots, and if so, should I put one seedling in each or a couple? I am still 3 or 4 weeks away from being safe to plant basil out. Thanks in advance for your advice.

Next, I'd like to start some German Chamomile (Roman, too for that matter). Baker Creek is out of the seed, and I don't really want to place an order for just one pack. Does anyone have a tad of GC seed that they would like to trade? I have lots of commercial veggie and herb seeds and some saved native columbine.

I have some Roman, and it germinated very well. I'd be happy to send some :). I'm looking for Goldenseal and echinachea (sp?), but it isn't neccesary. If you're in the exchange, I'll get them off by Monday, if not, send me your addy, and anything else you might be looking for.

I clump transplant basil, as detailed in this seed starting article: http://davesgarden.com/guides/articles/view/862/
